About The Fund > Board Meetings
The Board of the Fund meets three times a year, in addition to special meetings (held virtually) as needed. There is an annual membership meeting each Fall, to which all deacons are invited. Specific dates and locations are listed on this page.
Board meetings are held in New York City, where the Fund is incorporated, typically at The Episcopal Church offices at 815 Second Avenue, or at Church Pension Group offices on East 34th Street. Members are invited to attend all meetings, although you should let the president know in advance, so you can be listed as an attendee with building security. Discussions of grants to individuals will be held in closed session.
The Board has a variety of committees and task forces, which include deacons who are not board members. Appointments are made at the January board meeting. Persons interested in serving on a committee should review the description of each committee here, and then send a note of interest, including any information that would explain why you would be a contributor to the committee’s work, to our president Deacon Keith McCoy.
