Deacon Videos
Created by The Fund for the Diaconate and the Association for Episcopal Deacons (AED), these interviews showcase deacon calls and ministries. Plus, learn how The Fund and AED are working to support deacons.
  • Deacon Keith McCoy, President, discusses why the Fund began, how we assist deacons in financial need, and our variety of grant programs.
  • Deacon Robert Franken, Treasurer, talks about the benefits of planned giving and leaving a legacy to benefit deacons.
  • Archdeacon Carole Maddux, VP of AED, shares info about events, resources, grants and other ways that The Fund and AED are working to help deacons. In a short clip, she explains the purpose of the "Advancing the Diaconate" campaign
  • Deacon Logan Taylor Augustine discusses the grant support she received from the Fund and the challenges of balancing family and diaconal work.
