2019 Board Election
The Fund’s annual board election this year will be from Wednesday, August 21 – Wednesday, October 2, 2019. All deacons in The Episcopal Church are members of the Fund, with no membership fee required, and all are eligible to vote.
This year the Fund is electing three directors for a three-year term to the nine-member board; the first runner-up (4th place) will be elected to an unexpired two-year term. Read the nominee bios here.
NEW - Electronic voting
This year, for the first time, voting will be handled electronically. If you have an email address on file with the Association for Episcopal Deacons, you will receive an electronic ballot from Election Buddy. This will come via email and will contain a link for you to vote. All ballots are anonymous.
Those without an email address will receive a paper ballot: you can either mail your ballot back (deadline is listed on the ballot), or vote in person at the annual meeting on Monday, October 7 at 4 pm at the offices of the Church Pension Group, 19 E. 34th Street, New York NY.
You will only receive the ballot in one form, either email or paper. If you receive the electronic ballot but prefer a paper ballot, please contact the president, Dn. Keith McCoy, at firstname.lastname@example.org before Sunday September 22.
